John Mahama's Promises and My Women's Trousers – Manasseh Azure Awuni

Encourage John Mahama to initiate more of the policies that will bring sanity into our politics.   Mr. Azure has expressed his views on the statement made by Former President John Mahama on ex-cratia. He stated that there were times he believed that women who wore trousers which he considered to be men's attire would not go to heaven but now he no longer believe in some of those views he held 10 years ago. If you dig them up one day, and he hold a different view from what he used to believe in, it should not amount to hypocrisy. As he grow and learn, new information and perspectives shape his thinking. So his views may change on some issues. It is common with human nature. He said "the fact that John Mahama has benefitted from ex-gratia doesn't mean he cannot have a different opinion about it today. The fact that his previous administration had more than 60 ministers and deputies doesn't mean he cannot think differently when it comes to the number of ministers.” Manass

Crucial Private Members' Motion admitted - Okudzeto Ablakwa

-Hon Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa is very happy the Right Honourable speaker has admitted their two crucial Private Members Motion.He said " The Right Honourable Speaker has admitted our two crucial Private Members' Motion on government's draconian debt restructuring and on the imperative to establish a committee of enquiry into the scandal-dominated " National" Cathedral Project." He said this on twitter. The Majority leader Honourable Cassiel Ato Forson (PhD) also couldn't hide his joy. He said the admitted Private Member's Motion  means the finance minister will be forced to bring the #DDEP to parliament for consideration. The former UT bank boss Prince Kofi Amoabeng has accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and Ken Ofori Atta the finance Minister of back stabbing him. He was speaking on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. edition of Onua Maakye hosted by Captain Smart.   Ex-President Mahama has decided to launch his bid to lead the National Democratic Congress to the 2024 elections. PAY STUDENT LOANS IMMEDIATELY - NUGS

  National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) wants their student loans to be paid with immediate effect. NUGS has received several complains from their students nationwide about the non-payment of students loans after long period of applications. The student body said it's unfortunate to also note that last semesters arrears have also not been paid, this is a huge problem in the face of the current situation in the country with students facing inability to register and continue their academic activity.  NUGS said about 70,000 students have applied, and it's even more worrying to note that some institutions have issued notices, warning students of closing registration deadline, an example is University of Business and Integrated Development (UBIDS - WA) amongst others. NUGS is deeply worried that KNUST is set to write mid-semester exams from 27th of February.2023, it's unfortunate that several of their student's risk not being able to write the exams due to inability to pay

'Anyansafuoeii mo wo hin' is no where to be found- Ex president Mahama

Earlier today Ex President Mahama advised the church to speak out anytime they think things are not going on properly. I expect that this should be done no matter which government is in office. He went on further to state that men of God should be seen to be balanced and nonpartisan.  Mr. Mahama remembered how his government suffered some harsh criticisms from some men of God who seems to have gone quiet in today's harsh economic crisis. He wondered why the man who shouted ' Anyansafuoeii mo wo hin ' is quiet in this hard economic situation. He also said that Christians should not be afraid to participate in politics.
