He said this on twitter.

The Majority leader Honourable Cassiel Ato Forson (PhD) also couldn't hide his joy. He said the admitted Private Member's Motion  means the finance minister will be forced to bring the #DDEP to parliament for consideration.
The Majority leader said the motion will make parliament set up a committee to probe the national Cathedral. He said this on twitter.

-PARLIAMENT

-The Appointment Committee failed to lay its report on the six Ministerial nominees. This is due to an objection raised by ranking member of the committee Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh prayed the house for the report to be laid. But Ato Forson opposed the laying stating he had not sighted the final report after his inputs into the draft one.

The Majority side got angry especially the Vice Chairman of the committee and deputy Majority leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin who explained there was an agreement with the front bench of the Minority for the report to be laid.

The report of the committee has been delayed for more than ten (10) days after vetting the nominees leading to the lamentations by Adansi Asokwa MP on the floor on Thursday.

The speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin ruled the report should go back to the committee for approval by members before a presentation to the plenary.

The speaker took the opportunity to reprimand the leadership of some committees for failing to produce reports on time.
